Tamunodienye Nkechi Mba (Nee Green) was born on the 4th of April 1957 in Banny, Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State to Chief Dr. Tamunoiyowuna Ernest Green and Nkoyo Cobham. Primary schools attended were Government Primary school Ogbor Hill Aba Convent School Calabar road Calabar in 1968 where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. She went further went to Holy Child Secondary School Calabar and Cornelia Corneli, College Uyo in 1972, where she obtained her West AfricanSchoolCertificate (WAEC) all in former South Eastern State, now Akwa Ibom State, two years Higher School from Bauchi College of Arts and Science Bauchi having passed the IJMB exams in the year- 1976. She also did her Master’s degree in Educational Technology and Curriculum studies at University of Port Harcourt 1993 and finished at the University of Calabar with a PhD in Curriculum studies in 2009. Prof. Oboada Alafonye URIAH of the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt hails from Asarama Town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. He was born on the 9th February, 1967 at Asarama in Andoni, currently living at No. 22 Umuechem Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt. He was employed in the institution, then COE, on 23rd February, 2005 as an Asst. Lecturer and has risen through the ranks to the position of Reader (Assoc. Professor) of Sociology of Education in 2018 and finally promoted to the rank of full Professor in November 2023 with effect from 1st October, 2021. He had served the Department as Former Ag.
