Prof. Adokiye Adolphus Okujagu was born Tuesday, May 21, 1963 at Okujagu-ama, Kirike Kingdom Okrika Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria. He attended State School, Okujagu-ama, Okrika and graduated with the First Schools Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1975 and proceeded to the famous Okrika Grammar School (OGS), Okrika, Rivers State, where he graduated with the West African School Certificate (WASC O/L) in 1981. Prof. Okujagu obtained the Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in 1985 at the Rivers State College of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.
